As an educator, you know that a new perspective can inspire the fresh insight and enthusiasm that are the keys to nurturing new learning. The PSO does just that, maximizing the power of music by using it as both the subject and vehicle for innovative education. Our programs span the complete pre-K through high school grade gamut. Many are enhanced with teaching materials featuring curriculum connections to State of Maine Learning Results and the National Common Core Arts Standards (NCCAS). Whether making a kinetic KinderKonzert connection with pre-schoolers, providing a multicultural middle-school tour through American history with our Musical Melting Potor offering high school students pre-concert access to our Open Dress Rehearsals, the PSO can light the minds and smiles that make learning fun!
