College Card

 

For just $30, the PSO College Card allows students aged 16 and up to attend any and all* PSO Classical and POPS! concerts in the 2023-24 season. Students will also receive a discount code allowing them to purchase ONE additional ticket to each performance at 20% off so they can bring a friend!

*The PSO reserves the right to black-out any programs that are projected to sell out.

Things to Know About the College Card

How do students purchase the College Card?

Students will fill out the application form found on the PSO website here. Their request will be reviewed within 7 days. Once their request has been approved, the student will receive an email containing an exclusive access code and instructions on how to purchase the College Card through PortTIX. Students will need to use their school email address, or upload an image of their student ID, to be approved for the College Card. They will need to use the same email address when creating an account with PortTIX in order to complete the transaction.

How do teachers purchase the College Card for their students?

Teachers can fill out the application form found on the PSO website here. Their request will be reviewed within 7 days. Once their request has been approved, they will receive an email from the PSO Marketing Manager to discuss their group order.

Can I purchase a College Card as a gift?

To purchase a College Card as a gift patrons can contact the PSO Marketing Manager directly. Please note, the gift recipient will have to fill out the application form on the PSO website in order to be entered into our system as a College Card holder. At this time PSO College Cards may only be purchased for students 16 or older.

How do students pick their concerts?

Once a student’s College Card has been purchased, students will receive a confirmation email with a link to the concert redemption form where they can choose which concerts they want to attend. Requests can be made at any point throughout the season, but tickets may become unavailable at any time prior to the performance if there is low inventory. Seating is at the discretion of PSO management.

How do students receive their tickets?

Tickets will be sent via email as a mobile ticket unless otherwise specified. If requested, tickets can be picked-up at will-call on the day of the performance. Students should be prepared to show their student ID when picking up tickets at PortTIX.

How do students access the discount code to bring a friend or family member?

Within the mobile ticket confirmation email students will receive a discount code allowing them to get an additional ticket at 20% off. This code can be redeemed on the PortTIX website or over the phone. Detailed instructions on how to redeem this discount code will be found within the mobile ticket confirmation email.

Bring your class to a youth concert

This year’s Youth Concert will feature a performance of Carnival of the Animals: Remix, an engaging and reimagined version of Saint-Saëns’ famous work. Featuring local artists including a rapper, a Native American flute player, and an erhu player, this interactive daytime performance is perfect for all elementary students (K-4).
