A Gift of World-Class Music—Accessible to All
Your generous support is vital in helping us fulfill our mission, and is especially appreciated during challenging moments such as this one. We hope you will consider making a donation to our Annual Fund to help support the fiscal health of the PSO.
Another way to support the PSO is to consider donating your ticket from a canceled performance. Your donation is fully tax deductible and will help to offset the costs associated with cancelling these concerts. If you would like to donate your tickets please fill out this form.
New Tax Benefits for Charitable Donations
There’s never been a better time to give. The new coronavirus bill is granting taxpayers huge incentives for making charitable donations starting in 2020. Here’s what this means for you:
Smaller Gifts (under $300):
Individuals will now be able to deduct up to $300 in charitable donations, regardless of whether they itemize their deductions. Deductions can only be used for donations of cash (not stock) to qualified charitable organizations, like the PSO.
Individuals who make larger gifts can now deduct up to 100% of their adjusted gross income (AGI) for charitable deductions of cash (not stock). Any contributions over their total AGI can be carried over for up to five additional years. This cannot be used to fund a Donor Advised Fund.
Please Note: Since this is an election, individuals interested in this should notify the IRS of their intention.
Companies can now give up to 25% of their taxable income (up from 10%) to a charitable organization, such as the PSO.
Invest in the Now
When you make a gift today you not only support the music and innovative musical education, you also become a member of our family. By joining, you receive an array of exciting benefits and get even closer to the music you love.
Invest in your community and your brand. The PSO offers partnership opportunities for businesses large and small.
