Everything You Need to Know About Our Summer Concert Series at Seaside Pavilion

Getting to Seaside Pavilion

Please note, due to the parking being off-site we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the concert to ensure timely transport to the venue. 

SOUTHBOUND VIA I-95 S
This route has tolls

  • Merge onto I-95 S
  • Take exit 36 for I-195 E toward Saco/Old Orchard Beach
  • Continue onto I-195
  • Continue onto Ocean Park Road
  • In 2.3 miles, turn left onto Smithwheel Road
  • Continue onto McCallum Drive
  • Continue onto Emerson Cummings Boulevard
  • In 1.2 miles, turn left onto Dirigo Road
  • In 0.1 miles, the Old Orchard Beach High School parking lot will be on your right
  • Watch for Pavilion Parking signs as you approach the area. Parking staff will be available to assist you

SOUTHBOUND VIA US-1 S
This route DOES NOT have tolls

  • Merge onto I-295 S/US-1 S toward South Portland
  • Take exit 2 toward US-1 S/Scarborough/Old Orchard
  • Continue onto ME-701
  • Merge onto US-1 S. Stay on US-1 S for 6.3 miles
  • Turn left onto ME-98 E/Cascade Road
  • In 1.5 miles, turn right onto Ross Road
  • In 0.2 miles, turn left onto Wild Dunes Way
  • In 0.6 miles, turn left toward Dirigo Road
  • Continue onto Dirigo Road
  • In 0.4 miles the Old Orchard Beach parking lot will be on your left
  • Watch for Pavilion Parking signs as you approach the area. Parking staff will be available to assist you

NORTHBOUND VIA I-95 N
This route has tolls

  • Merge onto I-95 N
  • Take exit 36 for I-195 E toward Saco/Old Orchard Beach
  • Continue onto I-195
  • Continue onto Ocean Park Road
  • In 2.3 miles, turn left onto Smithwheel Road

NORTHBOUND VIA US-1 N
This route DOES NOT have tolls

  • Begin on US-1 N
  • Turn right onto Alfred Street
  • Continue onto State Route 9 E/Main Street
  • In 0.9 miles, turn right onto Beach Street
  • In 0.9 miles, turn left onto Old Orchard Road
  • In 1.3 miles at the traffic circle, take the second exit into Old Orchard Road/Saco Avenue
  • In 1 mile turn left onto Emerson Cummings Boulevard 
  • Pass the High School and take a left onto Dirigo Road
  • In 0.1 miles, the Old Orchard Beach High School parking lot will be on your right
  • Watch for Pavilion Parking signs as you approach the area. Parking staff will be available to assist you
Parking at Seaside Pavilion

There is NO on-site parking (excluding handicap parking) for our Summer Series at Seaside Pavilion. Please park at the Old Orchard Beach High School parking lot located at 40 Emerson Cummings Blvd, Old Orchard Beach, ME 04064. Watch for Pavilion Parking signs as you approach the area. Parking staff will be available to assist you.

Free trolley service is provided to transport you from the Old Orchard Beach High School parking lot to the Pavilion and back to the parking lot for each event.

There is limited accessible/handicap parking on site. Seaside Pavilion recommends you arrive as soon as parking opens an hour before each concert. Please note, Seaside Pavilion will NOT open parking any earlier than the designated time for each concert.

If all accessible/handicap parking spaces are filled when you arrive, Seaside Pavilion’s parking staff will direct you to a convenient drop-off location near the venue.

PARKING START TIMES:

  • Classic Rock Orchestra – PARKING STARTS: 5:30 PM
  • A Stars and Stripes Celebration – PARKING STARTS: 1:00 PM
  • Music of Harry Potter – PARKING STARTS: 5:30 PM

An hour prior to the concert start time.
Entering Seaside Pavilion

Please have your printed or mobile ticket out and ready to be scanned as you approach the entrance. There will be a security check after your tickets are scanned.

Once inside, Seaside Pavilion signage, Seaside ushers, and PSO staff will be available to guide you to the appropriate seating location. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the management.

Security at Seaside Pavilion

Security concerns require that we search purses/bags being brought into the Pavilion. 

No bags or purses (other than small clear ones) will be allowed inside the venue. Clear bags allow our security staff to safely inspect items without having to touch your personal items.

Seat Cushions at Seaside Pavilion

You may bring a personal seat cushion to the venue but it will be subject to a security search.

Seating Policy

We require you remain in your assigned seat once the concert has started. Due to security concerns, we do not allow re-entry if a guest leaves the venue.

 

If we don't order our tickets online, can we purchase tickets when we arrive for the performance?

While we cannot guarantee ticket or seating availability on the day of the concert, if tickets are still available you will be able to purchase them at the time of the performance. All tickets must be purchased with a credit card.

Do I need to purchase a ticket for my child if they will sit on my lap?

Tickets are required for all children age 1 and above.

Will concessions be served?

Yes, concessions will be served at Seaside Pavilion for the 22-23 Summer Series.

Are we allowed to bring food into the Pavilion?

No outside food or beverages (including water) are allowed at the Seaside Pavilion.

Concessions will be available at the venue.

Is smoking or drinking alcohol allowed in the Pavilion?

The entire Seaside Pavilion and surrounding campus is SMOKE, ALCOHOL, and DRUG free! Thank you for respecting Seaside Pavilion’s property.

Should I bring sunscreen or sunglasses?

The Seaside Pavilion is a COVERED outdoor venue. We do recommend bringing sunscreen and sunglasses if you plan to spend a great deal of time outside the venue itself.

Is it appropriate to bring my pet with me?

The only animals allowed at the Seaside Pavilion are active service animals.

WIFI

Please note, Seaside Pavilion DOES NOT have public WIFI available to patrons.

Are we required to wear masks inside the Pavilion?

Masking is recommended while at the venue, including in the restrooms and on the parking trolleys.

Are you able to accommodate us if we would like to practice social distancing when seated for a concert?

We will not be offering socially-distanced seating for our Summer Concert Series.

Bring your class to a youth concert

Coming in 2025… The Portland Symphony Orchestra partners with Carnegie Hall to present Link Up: The Orchestra Sings! Link Up is a fully participatory, school-day concert program. Students will fill Merrill Auditorium to sing, play recorders, move, and listen along with the symphony from their seats. This program is designed for students in grades 3-5 but all are welcome and encouraged to participate!
