What instruments do you play?

What is your educational background?
New England Conservatory and Boston University.

When did you start playing for the PSO? And where else do you perform?
PSO started for me in 2017. I also play with the Boston Pops Esplanade orchestra, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Emmanuel Music, BMOP, and Odyssey Opera, among others.

Where did you grow up?
New Hampshire and Vermont.

Where do you currently live?
Roslindale, MA.

Family, Pets, Kids:
I have a wonderful partner, and we share custody of a corn snake.

Describe a typical day.
Every day is different!

What is your favorite PSO memory to date?
Playing Zemlinsky’s Der Zwerg with conductor Eckhart Preu.

How did you get started in music?
When I was 2, I heard the violin and knew I wanted to play.

If you couldn’t be a musician, what would be your dream job?

What is your favorite music? What are you currently listening to?
It changes every day.. Currently obsessed with kizomba music.

What are your hobbies?
Learning languages, running, dancing kizomba.

What or who has been your greatest influence in life?
I’ve been lucky to have many mentors. One of the most important to me is Peter Row, the unparalleled Indian sitar player, with whom I studied Indian music.

What is your favorite thing about Maine?
The variety of things to do.

What/where are your favorite places to eat in Portland?
Local Sprouts and Cheevitdee
