2019-20 Season Announcement

Music Director designate Eckart Preu announced his inaugural season as Music Director at the Portland Symphony Orchestra on January 26 in Merrill Auditorium. PSO Executive Director Carolyn Nishon welcomes Eckart with a brief summary of the director search project and PSO Director of Education and Community Engagement John Elliott introduces the PSO’s 2019-20 Family Discovery Series concerts.

Subscribing automatically saves you money over the general public single ticket prices. Save up to 20% off of single ticket prices! Add-on additional tickets for friends and family and the savings continue on those tickets, too!

SCHEDULE FLEXIBILITY

Always on the go? We offer subscribers many easy options to exchange tickets with no additional fees so you never have to miss a concert. Please note that additional charges are incurred when exchanging a section or concert into a higher price section or concert. To exchange your tickets, please call the box office 207.842.0800. Monday – Friday, Noon to 6:00 pm.

ADVANCE ACCESS

Only subscribers can purchase single tickets in advance, 2 weeks before the box office opens to the general public.

LOCAL DISCOUNTS

Subscriber packs will arrive in the mail in August, and they include a members card that gives you access to great discounts for restaurants and attractions around Portland.

Bring your class to a youth concert

This year’s Youth Concert will feature a performance of Carnival of the Animals: Remix, an engaging and reimagined version of Saint-Saëns’ famous work. Featuring local artists including a rapper, a Native American flute player, and an erhu player, this interactive daytime performance is perfect for all elementary students (K-4).
