Due to Governor Janet Mill’s April 28th announcementthe CDC’s guidelines on social distancing, and in an effort to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we will be canceling all Portland Symphony Orchestra concerts as well as select events through June 23, 2020. Learn more here.


Experience the awe and excitement of cinema’s greatest music featuring the scores of the world’s most beloved film composer John Williams, winner of five Oscars, four Golden Globes, seven BAFTAs and 21 Grammys. With 48 Oscar nominations, he is second only to Walt Disney as the most nominated person ever. Led by Morihiko Nakahara, the PSO performs pieces from Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones and more.

Bring your class to a youth concert

Coming in 2025… The Portland Symphony Orchestra partners with Carnegie Hall to present Link Up: The Orchestra Sings! Link Up is a fully participatory, school-day concert program. Students will fill Merrill Auditorium to sing, play recorders, move, and listen along with the symphony from their seats. This program is designed for students in grades 3-5 but all are welcome and encouraged to participate!
