Experience music, fun, and food on the plaza of City Hall and Myrtle Street during this event that is free and open to all.

Come spend an evening with your PSO as we celebrate 100 Years of Music in our community and kick-off our 2024-25 season! There’s something for everyone to enjoy including performances from a fiddle trio, brass quintet, solo cello, solo marimba, and special performances from some of our 100th season community partners Portland Ballet and Opera Maine. See if you can find the PSO wandering wind musicians, and participate in fun activities for the whole family including an Instrument Petting Zoo, Podium Hero, and a Children’s craft station. Food will be available to purchase from beloved Maine food trucks, along with an indoor beer garden at Merrill Auditorium. We can’t wait to see you and celebrate this milestone together!

Block party will run from 5 PM – 8 PM.
