Portland Symphony would like to invite our youngest listeners to share their creative talents by entering our art challenge! The winning entry will be featured as our next Discovery Concert’s program cover at “All Aboard the Orchestra”. Both the winner and runner-up participants will receive four tickets to the performance.
Our drawing theme is… MUSIC THAT MOVES!
What instruments sound like things that go? Draw your favorite instrument making sounds that beep, zoom, chug, splash, or swoosh!
YOUR SUBMISSION SHOULD INCLUDE:
- The full name, age, and grade of the artist.
- The full name of the artist’s parent or guardian and their email address.
- Please indicate whether PSO may use the child’s full name or first name only.
SUBMISSION FAQ’S:
- Please use one vertical 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of paper.
- All drawings will be judged on originality and interpretation of theme.
- Entries must be postmarked by January 15, 2026.
- Submissions will not be returned.
- The winning entry will be notified via email and announced by January 23, 2026 on PSO social media.
