Potential Parking Issues for Sunday, March 10
The city of Portland has alerted us that it will be closing roads beginning at 6 a.m. on Sunday for a memorial service for Capt. Joel Barnes, who lost his life fighting a fire in Berwick. The memorial service is open to the public and will be held at 11 AM at Cross Insurance Arena. The Fire Department has reserved hundreds of spaces in local parking garages; they are anticipating up to 15,000 people. We do not know when the service is expected to end, please allow extra time for parking. Find more details about the memorial service here.
